5 Things You Should Know Before Getting Invisalign
If you are in search of a good option to improve the alignment of your teeth, but at the same time you don’t anyone to know that you are in the process of doing this then invisible aligners would be the best option for you. This is because invisible aligners go on clear which makes it impossible for anyone you don’t want to know to notice that you are wearing them. While invisible aligners through Invisalign is a great solution to gain access to more clearly aligned teeth it’s also important to properly care for them.

Here are the 5 things You Should Know Before You Invest in Invisalign:

1. You’ll Have to Wear Them Most of the Day
In order to ensure that you are getting the full benefits of your invisible aligners it is recommended that they are worn at least 20 hours a day. The upside is they feel more comfortable than traditional braces.

2. They Take a Little Bit of Time to Get Used To
Just like with anything else that’s new it takes a little bit of time to get used to your invisible aligners. For example, you have to take them out before drinking hot or cold beverages, but they’re easy to take out.

3. It May Not Be as Fast as Metal Braces
It’s important to note that while invisible aligners might be more convenient if you have an alignment issue that is severe than traditional braces might be the best option for you to ensure proper treatment.

4. People Have a Hard Time Spotting Them
As the name suggests your invisible aligners are clear and this is great for anyone who wants to receive the benefits of having their alignment corrected without the downsides of having unwanted attention.

5. They Work Really Well
Also, it’s important to note that invisible aligners work very well and has been proven to be effective even in severe misalignment cases. Treatment can take a year, but it can be done as soon as 6 months.
